Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree at the University of British Columbia majoring in sustainability and microbiology. Pursuing my interests in sustainability after graduation led me to work for small, socially conscious companies in the lower mainland.
After using SaaS products to streamline processes in my previous roles, I became interested in the product design cycle and how new features are determined and implemented. I carried this curiousity with me as I went on to study Interaction Design at Emily Carr University.
As a designer, I would love to use technology to empower others to make smart, sustainable decisions. I’m excited to see what problems we’ll be able to solve as new technologies combine with existing systems and how this might evolve our society and culture.
